Will there still be schools and teachers in the future?

Schools and teachers in the future,now and in the future will still be needed. ­­­­­knowledge and technology will always be developing progressively. So, the formal studying system,schools and teachers,are absolutely needed.

Some abilities needs to be reach, formal study needed from the lowest grade such as to be a doctor,we have to pass the formal studying step of medical study. So, the formal study become the prove of our skills to public.

In the future, the developing of knowledge and technology will be very progressive. And it needs to be tought by teachers to minimalize or prevent the negative effect of the knowledge itself.

So, the conclution is that we will still needs schools and teachers now and then. Because the developing of the knowledge itself have to be tought by teachers

The images of labsky

Hello everyone, today I’m going to write a report about “the image of labsky”. This report is about the image of labsky(students).This report is based on interviews from class X-C about four topics, such as their favorite food, their most loved sports, how often do you watch movies, and what kind of music you enjoy. So I hope this you like my report, enjoy.

The first topic is food. 75% of the people I interviewed said that padang food is the best of all the foods in the canteen, Why? Because it is delicious, has a lot of variety, like rendang, otak, and ayam, but most of all it is cheap. The rest of my friends said that the noodles are the best. Because they are also cheap and tastes good.

The next topic is about sports. There are four different types of sports in my class that are liked, and they are equally liked. Such as soccer, Basketball, Badminton, and Rugby. Most of the people in my class, likes to play but most off them rather watch somebody else play. I don’t know why, but I think it is because the one who loves to play are just to good at sports.

The third topic is about movies. Who doesn’t like movies? Nobody! So in short, everybody likes movies, but they all have different types of movies they like. Some like action, comedy, fantasy, sci-fi, romance, and a lot more. Oh, and here’s the result of my interview on how often do you go out to watch movies.50% of them said “once or twice week”, 25% said “once a month”, and the rest said “whenever I want, because I go to the mall almost everyday”. So that is my interview on “How often do you watch movies”

Sorry this report is so short, but this is the last topic, and it’s about music. I interviewed some of my friends about “what kind of music do you like?”. As you all know, there are a lot of types of music like pop, blues, pop-rock , classic-rock, slow-rock, rap, herd rock, and many other types. Well, as interviewed, there are 37,5% of people who like hard rock music, there are 25% who like slow type music, 25% of the people like romantic song, and the rest like rap music. Oh, and one more thing. Music is about who you are and what you feel. The type of music you like is a part of who you are. So don’t be afraid if you like a song but your friends doesn’t .

The conclusion on this report is, labsky students take in too much American culture from movies. They should embrace their Indonesian culture more. Because it is a part of who we are, and we cant change it, I think.

well the most popular food in my class is padang food,why?because cheap,and satisfying. thats why them very likes padang food

sport

my friends said futsal,basketball,badminton,baseball,and rugby. so i think all sports is same,everyone like it. just how we can play it

movie

all my friends is like watching movies,even me. but the kinds of movie we like is diferent. one of them said he watch movie one time of week,and other said two or three times of month. and the kinds of movie we like is like superhero,advanture,love,ect.

music

there is much kind of music we like,from rock,pop,jazz,rap,and may more. one of them said listen what your heart want to listen. so if you sad listen some kind of slow music, if you happy listen kind of rock or jazz music

that all what i thinking, so my conclusion is them include me like everything can make we happy and enjoy that we do.and we can accept positif of globalitation,but ignore the negatif of globalitation.

Images of Labsky (Labschool Kebayoran)

Today i will write a report about the labschool kebayoran students lifestyle in order to make a preview in your mind about the lifestyle and enviroment in Labsky. The information in this report was taken directly from our class (XC), it is related to four main subjects : Sport, Movie, Music, and Food. Before we waste to much time, let's go to the first subject :

Sport : Labsky students likes to participate in a lot of diversity in sports, such as football, basketball, badminton, rugby and many of other sports. Labsky is making us healthy by creating a regular event such as jogging at friday, so that our body will be more fit at daily life and the future.

Movie : Most of labsky students likes foreign movies rather than local movies, they find it more attractive than the local movies. Some of the students watch movies regularly every week. But some students are more picky than others, they only watch movies if the movies that was playing in that particularly week was good. They watch a variety of movies, from an action pack movie to a musical drama movies.

Music : A large part of the students prefer foreign music from local music. They find it good to hear rather than local music. A lot of the students likes pop music rather than other kind of musics, but some like rock or classical music to easy listening music. It's all about our taste in music.

Food : At Labsky, there is two canteen that serves a lot varieties of food, such as fried rice, nasi padang, instant noodles, and many more. There is two canteen at the school because one canteen can not hold this much of students in Labsky. The many diversity of food makes Labsky's canteen a nice place to eat, and the foods are very delicious too.

To sum it up, most of Labschool students have a peculiarly same lifestyle as other teenagers out there. They prefer foreign cultures because they find it easy to imitate. But we need to preserve our local cultures as well, for there is no hope in a country without it cultures. That's all from me, hope you like it.

“Images of Labsky”

Labschool Kebayoran or usually called Labsky is a school located at Jl. K.H Ahmad Dahlan, Kebayoran Baru. It is considered one of the best Senior High School in Jakarta. The goal of my report is to report the images and lifestyles of Labsky students. I interviewed 6 of my classmates about Music, Movie, Sport, and Food.

MOVIE : 5 of the 6 friends I interviewed watch movies at the cinema twice a month. They prefer American/Foreign movies rather than Local/Indonesian movies.

MUSIC : Most of the students like foreign music more than Indonesian music. They think that the quality of foreign music is better than Indonesian music. They also prefer rock and pop music.

SPORT : Most of the students participate in various kinds of sport such as Soccer/Futsal, Basketball, Badminton, Baseball, and even Rugby. Labsky encourages us to be active in sport, which is why every Friday, Labsky students have a morning jog around the school area.

FOOD : Most of labsky students like Indonesian food, especially Padang food because it is cheap and very satisfying. At Labsky there are 2 canteens that serve various kinds of food, such as Indonesian foods (Nasi Padang, Fried Rice, Chicken Porridge, Soto, etc.) and International/foreign food (Macaroni, French Fries, Burgers, Crepes, etc.).

Based on the survey that I conducted, I have come to the conclusion that Labsky students’ lifestyle follows the current trends and styles. And like most teenagers these days, Labsky students like foreign cultures more than Indonesian cultures.

Images of Labsky (And It Students)

The goal of this report is to present the lifesyle of Labsky's (Labschool Kebayoran's) Students. I got the information by observing the lifestyle of Labsky's students and by interviewing a few of my classmates and asked some questions that related to four subjects: Sport, Food, Music, and Movie.

Sport: Many labsky students enjoy many kind of sport, such as football, basketball, badminton, riding bicycles, or even playing rugby or playing American football. But only few of the students like to do sports a lot. Many of the students just enjoy watching their friends playing football or doing another kind of sport. Beside all of that, each Friday morning, Labsky students do the jogging or morning run.

Food: Labsky students really love food. In labsky, there are two canteen. That serve many kinds of food. Based on my observation, there is no particular food that student eat each day. But, based on my interview, some of the students love to eat Nasi Padang because it's fair price and it is statisfying. Students would also eat other kinds of food such as siomay, toast (Roti Bakar), Fried Noodle,Fried Rice, Soto, etc.

Music: The majority of labsky students love to hear foreign music rather than locals. Many of the students love to listen to British or Anerican Rock or Pop music.

Movies: Students would love to watch many kind of movies such as action, drama, romance, or comedy. Many of the students prefer to watch foreign blockbuster hollywood movies rather than locals. Students would love to watch movies at the cinema or just simply watch it on television. They could also buy a film and watch it on the computer.

In my conclusion, Labsky students are just like the majority of teenagers these days. Students love to imitate foreign cultures. But, in my point of view, Local cultures are just like being "pushed away" by the western. It's not a bad thing that teenagers enjoy the flow of globalization, but teenagers would also have to maintain the local cultures. Well, it's only my point of view and conclusion.

The aim of this report is to present what is popular and important in Labsky. I interviewed 4 of my friends in person. The questions concerned food, sport, movie, and music.

Food

Well, the data is quite shocking. 4/4 or 100% of my friends answer padang food(one of the indonesian food that famous for their spiciness). Their reason is basicly the same, "cheap and satisfying. oh, and delicious, very very delicious"

Sport

There is none of sports in labsky that categorized "most popular". why? because all of my friends answer 4 different sports. They answer soccer, basketball, badminton, and rugby(oh yeah, labsky have rugby for one of their sports, cool right?) Their answer proof that labsky can manage all of their sports very well.

Movie

The frequency of Labsky students watch movie is very different. 50% of my friends says "1 movie a week, usually at cinema when spending time at mall with parents or friends. But of course depends on quality of the movies that show that week " 25% says "1 movie a month, but depends on the movies" and the other 25% says "2/3 times a week, I'm a mall kid, so, if I hanging out at malls and there's a good movie, why not?" All of them sometimes watch the same movies few time with other person, like 1 time with family, 1 time with friends, etc.

Then again, in the end we can see there's always "depends on the movie", so, what type of movie that these cool kids love?

-movie based on quality novel, like: Harry Potter, Twilight Saga, etc
-superheroes, like: spider man, green lantern, iron man, etc
-Hi-tec action, like: Transformers, green hornet, etc

Well of course, there's a lot of other type of movie that they love too, that 3 type is just an example :p

Music

Labsky Students like all genres, such as: pop, blues, pop-rock , classic-rock, slow-rock, rap, and many other easy-listening music. There's few of them like Hard rock too. But of course, music is about feeling, so what kind of music do you like to hear? of course depends on your mood, right? yeaah, because my object of interview is senior high school, many of them likes romantic songs, or, in unformal indonesian languange, galau song when they are alone. When watching live music such as band(Labsky students band or outsider band), they like rock music to have some fun.


well, that's pretty much of my interview. In my conclusion, Labsky Students more enjoy foreign movie and music. They really enjoy the effect of globalization and flow of foreign cool culture.In my opinion, they should try to balance their indonesian culture and foreign culture. Because, despite of how bad it is compared to foreign technology and creativity, it's a part of who we are
